Job Description
The graphic designer will work closely with in-house graphic designers, software programmers and the sales and marketing team to design and produce engaging, high quality visual, textual and animated content for the company websites and social media.
Job Responsibilities
Conduct research on media techniques and design ideas
Develop multimedia content ideas in collaboration with graphic designers, visual designers, and software programmers
Design and produce attractive multimedia content according to website specifications
Create digital images, video and text animations
Create original artwork for digital image processing
Record, editing (cleaning) and encoding audio files
Perform media edit based on user feedback
Assemble raw footage and transfer or upload to a computer
Create video advertisements of different tourist destinations through storytelling
Assist with other tasks that require video editing (recruitment videos, instagram stories, etc.)
Improve and correct faulty video footage
Work closely with management to present a final product that matches their vision
Do additional admin tasks as directed by the management
Job Qualifications
Graduate of Fine Arts, Advertising, Film or a Design-related degree
Highly proficient in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign
Also skilled in Adobe After Effects & Premiere Pro
Knowledgeable of the aesthetic that appeals to the Japanese consumer/market
Willing to travel and visit tourist destinations with other staff as part of marketing
Willing to work shifting schedules and render overtime as needed
Above average verbal & written communication skills
Preferably with some marketing knowledge
Background of the Japanese language is an advantage, but not required
Creative and has initiative
Is a self-starter and solutions-oriented person
Has initiative and is driven toward quality outputs
Can do task switching
Open-minded and aware of cultural differences as there are Japanese staff in the company
Can start immediately
