We are seeking a passionate and creative Graphic Designer to help us in a specific project that involves creating the designs for packaging for a DIY company. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, a strong understanding of materials and manufacturing processes, and the ability to create designs that align with our brand identity and sustainability goals.
Responsibilities:
Develop innovative packaging concepts and designs that align with our brand identity, sustainability goals, and customer needs
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product development, marketing, and manufacturing, to ensure packaging solutions meet project requirements
Research and analyze market trends, customer preferences, and competitor packaging strategies to identify areas for improvement and differentiation
Create detailed packaging specifications, including materials, dimensions, and production methods, to guide manufacturing partners
Conduct usability testing and gather feedback to refine designs and ensure they meet the highest quality and functionality standards
Continuously explore and propose new materials, technologies, and sustainable practices to improve packaging performance and reduce environmental impact
Present design concepts and prototypes to stakeholders, and incorporate feedback to finalize packaging designs
Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and maintaining strong communication with relevant teams
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Design, Industrial Design, or related field.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in packaging design
Proficiency in design software, including Adobe Creative Suite.
Exceptional creativity and innovation with a strong attention to detail.
Excellent communication, time management, and teamwork skills.
Understanding of print production processes and techniques.
Ability to present and defend design proposals with professionalism and persuasiveness.
Knowledge of environmental and sustainability considerations in packaging design is a plus.
