Job Description:
Key Responsibilities:
Create original textile and apparel designs, including patterns, prints, and graphics, based on current trends and brand identity.
Collaborate with the product development team to ensure designs are feasible and meet production standards.
Develop technical sketches and design specifications for manufacturers.
Participate in trend research and market analysis to keep designs fresh and relevant.
Produce detailed mood boards, color palettes, and design concepts.
Ensure all designs align with the company’s branding and aesthetic.
Utilize design software (Adobe Creative Suite) to create and finalize designs.
Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders to understand design requirements and feedback.
Stay updated with the latest trends, techniques, and technologies in textile and apparel design.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Fashion Design, Textile Design, or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in textile or apparel graphic design.
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign).
Strong understanding of textile design processes and production techniques.
Excellent sense of color, trend, and fabric/material knowledge.
Strong portfolio showcasing expertise in textile and apparel design.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
Experience working in a remote environment is a plus.
Previous experience in designing sporting uniforms (soccer, football, basketball, etc.) is an advantage.
