Graphic Designer

Anna’s World of Gifts is a new company currently seeking a highly skilled and enthusiastic Graphic Designer to join our team. As a Graphic Designer, you will be responsible for creating visually appealing designs that communicate our brand message effectively. The ideal candidate for this role will be passionate about graphic design. They will be specializing in Afrocentric artwork pieces printed on notebooks, greeting cards, wrapping paper, hats, bags and more. I am looking for someone who also can work with direction and inspiration and come up with their own ideas for how to incorporate.

PROJECT GOAL / LENGTH:

*Uses Procreate or similar tablet-based applications.
OBJECTIVE:

Designing the front pieces of funny, raunchy, punny, greetings cards. Whether it is designed for boyfriends, girlfriends, husbands, wives, friends, parents, or family members, these cards will be classic, yet, sassy.

SPECS:

Full colour, at least 300 DPI, and ready to print high-quality PNG. deliverable. Our greeting cards are 7-inches by 5-inches. Your designs must be made with a .125″ bleed in mind and sized appropriately for our card size. So 7.125″ x 5.125″.

Requirements:
– Experience with Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesign, and Photoshop
– Must be able to commit to work 40 hours per week and must work exclusively for our company
– Should have an eye for aesthetically pleasing colour schemes, font and shapes.
-Use of Canva for graphic designs
-Has experience designing greeting cards
– Open to illustrating risqué words and possible nudity, if need be.
– Able to adapt their style of artwork to ours
– Takes initiative to make suggestions or improvements without direction
– Willing to learn and take on responsibilities
– Able to work independently without constant supervision
– Creative and cute lettering that complements the phrase
– Skilled at calligraphy and custom fonts
– Personable and great communication skills
– Has a reliable internet connection.
– *Procreate* App proficient.
– Speaks, writes, and reads English to communicate questions or concerns accurately.
– Great communicator and asks questions regularly to grow / learn.
– Available 40 hours per week.
Responsibilities:
• Expert in creating high-quality lifestyle photos that can be used in E-commerce websites for photo listings is a MUST
• Knowledge of different e-commerce platforms like Amazon and Etsy is highly preferred
• Master level in Adobe Photoshop is REQUIRED
• Illustrator, Canva, and any other related designing tools are required.
• Highly creative and has a good attitude toward work
• Experienced in Print-on-Demand business is a plus.
• Expert with photo manipulation and editing skills.
• Work within established deadlines and effectively manage time to meet project goals.
• This person would need to have access to adobe illustrator to create designs and place them on mock-ups. The files would need be submitted as Adobe Illustrator and PNG file with related design names at the end of the day
