Graphic Designer

FULL JOB DESCRIPTION
Graphic Artist is the visual storytelling that captivates, informs, and inspires. A highly creative Graphic Artist who can translate conceptual ideas into visual representations for print and electronic media. The ideal candidate will be fluent in current design software and skilled at all stages of the design process, from concept to final deliverable. While working with multiple teams at our company, the Graphic Artist should be able to take direction from written or spoken ideas and convert them into a design that connects.
JOB SPECIFICATIONS
• Read and understand the provided directions.
• Create illustrations and animations that are engaging and creative.
• Compile and organize all assets and project files used for animation and editing.
• Communicate with immediate supervisor regarding task progress.
• Give inputs on design to build on visual merchandising concepts being considered for implementation
• Translate creative concepts of visual merchandising to actual perspectives to facilitate approvals & cascade
• Organize records of all graphic designs (both approved & not approved) for easy reference
• Search & evaluate new technologies that can expedite graphics design creation & cut costs
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION
• Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, art, or similar discipline
WORK EXPERIENCE
• Exceptional creativity and innovative design skills
• 2-3 years’ experience (academic and professional) with design software, including Adobe Illustrator, Adobe After Effects, Photoshop, Maya 3D
• Has experience in packaging design, trade collaterals and concept designing.
• Captures briefs and translates them to engaging visual content for a variety of platforms (print and various social media) under tight timelines
• Can take and edit quality photos for a variety of print and digital platforms
