Job Description:
As a Graphic Designer / Canva Designer / Social Media Graphic Designer at Net Positive, you will be responsible for creating visually appealing and engaging graphics for our social media channels, website, and marketing campaigns. You will work closely with our marketing team to ensure that our visual content aligns with our brand identity and resonates with our target audience. This is a part-time position with the potential to become full-time based on performance.
Key Responsibilities:
– Develop and create high-quality graphics for social media posts, stories, ads, and other digital platforms using Canva and other design tools.
– Design visually appealing and on-brand graphics for email newsletters, website banners, and other marketing materials.
– Create engaging and informative infographics, illustrations, and other visual content to support our marketing campaigns.
Brand Consistency:
-Ensure all designs are consistent with Net Positive’s brand guidelines and visual identity.
-Maintain a cohesive look and feel across all digital platforms and marketing materials.
Innovation and Trends:
– Stay up-to-date with the latest design trends, social media best practices, and emerging technologies.
– Continuously seek ways to improve and innovate our visual content.
Project Management:
– Manage multiple design projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
– Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders to ensure project success.
Qualifications:
– Proven experience as a Graphic Designer, Canva Designer, or Social Media Graphic Designer.
– Proficiency in Canva is a plus; experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
– Strong portfolio showcasing your design skills and creative projects.
– Excellent understanding of social media platforms and their design requirements.
– Ability to create engaging and visually appealing content that resonates with our target audience.
– Strong attention to detail and a keen eye for aesthetics.
– Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
– Excellent communication and time management skills.
– Passion for sustainability and eco-friendly practices is a plus.
