The following qualities are required:
Fluent in Adobe Illustrator CC
Knowledgeable in Adobe Photoshop CC
We can accommodate both Mac or PC users, but PC knowledge is a plus.
Detailed eye: can spell correctly and type quickly
E?ciency-minded: You love the beauty of design, but understand the necessity of speed and e?cient work?ow
You have patience: Constant revisions from your coworkers and customers under tight deadlines can be very trying at times and takes a patient and understanding person
You strive for great communication: Design is only half the job, communicating effectively with your coworkers is the other half of the equation; you realize that a variety of perspectives contribute to a job well done and do what you can to appreciate and account for those perspectives through clear communication
The following qualities are the icing on the cake:
Experience with technical and/or submittal drawings
Understanding of real-world graphic applications, esp. 3D; blueprints, CAD software, hands-on building knowledge, sign experience, etc.
You’re excited by the automation prospects that current technology is beginning to provide us.
A portfolio that knocks off our proverbial socks!
