GRAPHIC DESIGNER

Ideal Candidate Experience: The ideal candidate for designing print ads and campaigns should be versatile in handling both minimalist and vibrant design approaches. They should excel in creating layouts that are not only visually compelling but also strategically crafted to improve brand engagement. Proficiency in typographic design, innovative use of colour, and the ability to blend modern trends with timeless design elements are crucial. Candidates should demonstrate an understanding of how graphic design can be tailored to different brand identities while maintaining coherence and appeal across diverse media.

Job Summary: responsible for creating captivating visual content across various platforms, including marketing materials, branding initiatives, publications, websites, and more. Collaborating closely with clients, colleagues, and stakeholders, you will transform concepts into visually stunning designs that resonate with our audience.

Responsibilities:
Design Development: Craft visually appealing and impactful designs for a range of materials, such as logos, marketing collateral, brochures, websites, and social media graphics.
Conceptualization: Work collaboratively with clients and team members to understand project requirements and develop design concepts that align with project objectives.
Image Editing: Enhance and manipulate images to optimize quality and visual impact, including tasks such as cropping, retouching, and color correction.
Typography: Apply appropriate fonts, text styles, and layouts to written content in designs, ensuring clarity and aesthetic appeal.
Software Proficiency: Utilize industry-standard graphic design software, including Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), and other relevant tools to create and edit designs effectively.
Branding: Develop and maintain brand identity guidelines, ensuring consistency in the use of logos, colors, and fonts across all materials.
Client Collaboration: Engage with clients to discuss project requirements, provide updates, and incorporate feedback to refine designs and deliver exceptional results.
Print Production: Prepare designs for print, managing file setup, color management, and coordination with print vendors to ensure high-quality output.
Web Design: Create web graphics and collaborate with web developers to ensure seamless implementation of designs online.
Research and Trends: Stay abreast of design trends, industry best practices, and emerging technologies to continually enhance and innovate our design offerings.

Qualifications:
Solid understanding of design principles, layout, typography, and color theory.
Creative thinking skills with a keen eye for detail and aesthetics.
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Strong time management skills and the ability to meet project deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Familiarity with printing processes and web design principles is advantageous.
Adaptability and a passion for learning, with a commitment to staying current with design trends and technologies.
Animation and motion graphics skills are a plus.
Experience in 3D modeling and rendering is desirable.

Requirements:
Minimum of 5 years of demonstrated experience in graphic design, preferably in a similar role.
Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, visual communication, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
Proficiency in graphic design software and tools, particularly Adobe Creative Suite.
A robust and diverse portfolio showcasing your best design work is essential. Your portfolio should highlight your design skills, creativity, and ability to work across various project types and industries.
