Senior Designer (Creative Design Specialist)

Job description:
Will be a creative, self-motivated individual with a keen visual sense and passion for good design. The designer will work with multi-disciplinary teams, which will involve observing, listening, researching and brainstorming. It is the designer’s role to communicate ideas in the form of presentations, web media, and print media. Ideas will be communicated clearly and effectively, verbally and visually, internally as well as externally with attention to detail. Must have the ability to work well under pressure and tight deadlines with a smile at the end of the day.

Responsibilities
• Working with manager to produce creative high level graphic content for Baby Delight, Go With Me and other businesses as needed: ie. instruction booklets, social media content and packaging

Marketing Centric Responsibilities
• Email Newsletter Graphic Creation
• Attentive SMS Marketing Graphic Creation
• Social Media Content Creation (post, story, etc.)
• Brand Management (print, digital, media, etc.)

Product Development Responsibilities
• Packaging (and POP) Design
• Product Labeling Design
• Instruction Manual Design

Qualifications
• Bachelor’s or associate Degree in related field required
• Previous experience working in a creative product development atmosphere with printing deliverables of 10-12 years
• Excellent knowledge of the Adobe Suite – Illustrator, inDesign, Photoshop, and Lightroom, MacOS & production skills
• Ability to generate high quality new and original ideas within the parameters of stated objectives
• High proficiency with computing systems including email management and advanced Microsoft skills.
• Ability to work independently, under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong ability to take and learn from criticism or suggestions in stride and how to deliver revisions quickly.
• Possess excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Be detail-oriented, honest, direct, and able to handle more than one task at a time while managing one’s time effectively and maintaining a strong work ethic.
• Display confidence, be outgoing, self-motivated, and possess a strong work ethic.
• Has a knack for creating inviting color schemes and aesthetically pleasing content in all forms
