Graphic Designer

Exciting full time opportunity with a 20+ year digital agency in Australia.
Your role will be to work beneath a highly qualified designer, learning from a veteran of the design industry.

Highly experienced in:

? Designing all screen-based designs including:
? Responsive websites
? Mobile Apps
? Desktop Apps
? Social media
? Presentations

? General print design including:
? Posters
? Brochures
? Magazines

? Taking existing creative concepts and completing additional layouts.

? Typographic design. You must have a great understanding of how type works together and be able to produce designs with good typography.

? Reading strategy documents and briefing notes and interpreting into the appropriate creative outcomes.

? Applications/software:
? Adobe creative suite, including Adobe XD.
? Canva

The position will also need to:
? Keep up-to-date with latest design techniques, trends and technologies.
? Complete tasks on time and on budget.
? Collaborate and share knowledge with other team members.
? Produce work according to the brief and project plans.
? Quality assure own work and others work where appropriate.
? Have exceptional attention to detail.
? Learn new software easily.
? Have an ability to take art direction.
? Follow guidelines and apply client branding styles consistently.
? Be a self starter, able to work to deadlines and manage their own task load.
? Have strong written and spoken English.

Industry experience
? At least 3 years professional industry experience in a similar position.
? Ability to show a quality design portfolio. (please note that we will not be accepting
applications without a portfolio of work or alternatively links to work)

Communication skills
? Communicates clearly, professionally and is confident in written and verbal forms in English.
