Overview:

The ideal candidate will have experience creating digitally compelling, creative work and optimizing & editing photos for use on multiple online retail channels and social media platforms. We need someone who can colorize existing pictures, create aesthetically pleasing graphics & has extensive knowledge of photoshop and other adobe softwares.

Working knowledge of files types, rendering and exporting
Demonstrated organizational skills; able to work in a fast-paced, multi-project, deadline-driven, constantly changing environment

We’re looking for a creatively-minded full-time graphic designer focused on paid advertising campaigns with a passion for performance marketing to join our team remotely. You will design ad concepts using Adobe Creative Suite and Canva, and collaborate with our creative team to formulate new campaign concepts for each client.
The ideal candidate is creative and performance-driven, a team player who is also a proactive and independent thinker.
Applicants should have strong design knowledge and an understanding of advertising in the digital world.
They should have their finger on the pulse of what’s trending in the social space, and respond to changes in the landscape by proposing new ideas and creative solutions.

As a part of our team, the Graphic Designer – Advertising will have the opportunity to learn firsthand how to leverage performance-focused creative for long-term client growth, develop innovative content ideas for paid ads, and grow their skills in a fast-paced and exciting startup environment.

Job Responsibilities:
Develop design concepts, layouts, graphics and visuals for paid advertising campaigns. (primarily Facebook and Instagram)
Create or incorporate illustrations, pictures, and designs to reflect the desired theme and tone of the communications.
Collaborate with marketing and product teams to ensure design concepts align with business goals and brand guidelines.
Collaborate with clients and marketing teams to ensure that designs accurately reflect the brand’s desired image and messaging.
Research current design trends and stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in graphic design, new image editing technologies and digital marketing.
Present design concepts to clients and stakeholders for review and feedback.
Make revisions and adjustments to designs based on feedback.
Manage multiple design projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
Organize design assets and files.
Ensure that all designs are produced to the highest standards of quality and accuracy.
Participate in team meetings and provide input on design-related topics and projects.

Requirements:

Ability to work 8am – 5pm PST hours.
Minimum 2-3 years of experience in an advertising design, brand design, marketing design, or illustration role.
Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite. (Photoshop, Illustrator, etc)
Experience with Canva.
Strong portfolio showcasing a range of design and illustration styles and techniques, preferably for Facebook and Instagram ads.
Thorough knowledge of computer imaging, photographic techniques, studio management and color composition.
Strong understanding of design principles and typography.
Creative mind with an eye for detail.
Excellent attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality work.
Strong communication (verbal and written) and collaboration skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Creative problem-solving skills and ability to think outside the box.
Flexibility and willingness to adapt to changing design needs and priorities.
Strong time management skills with ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment; while effectively managing changing priorities.
Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Marketing or a related field is preferred, but not required.
Proven ability to maintain strong internal, external, and client relationships.
Proactive, organized, and able to work well individually and in a team environment. (self-starter who thrives in a startup environment)
Understanding of the online advertising industry and digital media landscape. (preferred)
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage and label design assets efficiently, ensuring easy access and retrieval for future use.
Ability to collaborate effectively with team members in Notion and Trello to help track/manage creative requests.
