Graphic designer for Latino inspired baseball/trucker hat apparel

Seeking a skilled Graphic Designer & Illustrator who will play a crucial role in translating AI-generated concepts into visually captivating designs and preparing detailed tech packs for manufacturing. This position involves close collaboration to refine AI concepts, execute detailed illustrations, and ensure designs are production-ready.

Responsibilities:

– Interpret AI-generated hat concepts, refining and transforming them into professional illustrations and designs that align with our brand’s vision.
– Create detailed and accurate graphic designs for a variety of hats and trucker hats, using Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator and Photoshop) based on provided AI concepts and feedback.
– Develop comprehensive tech packs for each design, including specifications for materials, dimensions, color palettes, print methods, and graphic placement, to ensure flawless manufacturing execution.
– Revise designs and tech packs based on feedback and prototype reviews, working closely to address and solve any design-related manufacturing challenges.
– Manage multiple design projects from concept through completion, ensuring deadlines are met without compromising on the creativity or quality of the work.

Requirements:

– Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Fashion Design, or related field, with a strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in apparel or accessory design, not necessary but nice to have.
– Proven experience in graphic design and illustration, with specific experience in apparel or accessories; experience in hat design is highly advantageous.
– Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Illustrator and Photoshop, with the ability to produce clean, accurate, and production-ready files.
– Experience creating tech packs and a solid understanding of the apparel manufacturing process.
– Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate design concepts and revisions clearly.
– Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and efficiently.
– Creative and innovative thinker, with a keen eye for design, detail, and a passion for fashion and accessory trends.
– Flexibility to adapt design concepts and to work collaboratively, incorporating AI insights and feedback into design iterations.

Compensation:
We offer flexible compensation options to suit the varied nature of projects:

Hourly Rate: Competitive rates based on experience, skills, and the industry standard, ranging from $3 to $5 per hour or more for highly skilled designers.

Fixed Price Per Design: For projects with a well-defined scope, prices may range from $24 to $48 or more, depending on complexity. This includes a set number of revisions, with additional work billed accordingly.
