Graphic Designer for Motorcycle Helmet Designs

Job Description: We are seeking a talented and creative Graphic Designer to join our team. This role involves creating both basic and intricate designs for motorcycle helmets based on specific client requests. If you have a passion for design and experience with digital design software, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities:
1. Create unique and customized helmet designs according to client specifications.
2. Utilize Photoshop, Clip Studio Paint, or similar digital design software to develop helmet graphics.
3. Translate general helmet designs onto 2D templates.
4. Generate new templates for helmet designs as needed.
5. Upload completed designs to Google Drive.
6. Follow detailed processes for custom orders, from initial concept to final product.

Example Process for a Custom Order:

1. Initial Concept: Start with an existing helmet design, such as a design inspired by the character “Toothless” from “How to Train Your Dragon”. Adapt the design to meet the client’s request, such as modifying it to resemble the white dragon from the same film.

2. Design Revisions: Use color editing and rework specific design elements (e.g., adjusting the tail or omitting unnecessary features like additional eyes or horns).

3. Template Creation: Develop a 2D template based on the revised character design, ensuring it aligns with our general rework standards. Use extra space efficiently for additional details or enhancements.

4. Final Product: Complete the design process by generating the vinyl for the helmet, repainting it if necessary (e.g., changing the helmet color from black and grey to the desired colors), applying a clear gloss, and preparing it for the client. Will be completed in Studio in USA.

Requirements:

1. Proficiency in Photoshop, Clip Studio Paint, or equivalent digital design software.
2. Strong artistic skills and creativity.
3. Ability to follow detailed instructions and adapt designs based on client feedback.
4. Reliable access to the internet and a computer capable of running design software.
5. Organizational skills to manage multiple design projects and meet deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications:
1. Experience with creating custom designs for products.
2. Familiarity with 2D template creation.
3. Portfolio showcasing previous design work.
