Hello! We are a leading company specialising in laser cutting, laser engraving, and UV printing. Our primary niche revolves around personalised gifts for occasions such as kids/babies milestones, weddings, birthdays, and more. We’re on the lookout for a talented Graphic Designer who can not only bring our visions to life but also contribute innovative design and product ideas.
Key Responsibilities:
Innovative Design Creation:
Come up with fresh design ideas for our laser engraving/cutting and UV printing services.
Propose new product ideas suitable for our materials and target audience.
Preparing customer orders for laser processing.
Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop is essential. Familiarity with the laser software, Lightburn, would be advantageous, though not mandatory.
Material Mostly Used:
Design specifically for materials like acrylic, wood, glass, slate marble, and metal.
Product Mock-ups:
Create realistic mock-ups of the vector designs, adding texture to vectors to make them look authentic on the respective items.
Overlay laser designs on existing product images, ensuring a seamless and realistic appearance.
Editing Product Photos:
Enhance photos of personalised products, adjusting brightness, contrast, and other necessary elements.
Designing Social Media Graphics:
Craft engaging graphics for various social media platforms, ensuring brand consistency.
Design promotional banners, stories, and posts for special occasions and offers.
Branding and Identity:
Assist with logo design or refreshment.
Design business cards, letterheads, and other branded materials.
Website and Newsletter Graphics:
Design visuals for our website and email campaigns.
Compensation and Working Arrangements:
Pay rate: $3-5 Australian dollars per hour.
Payment frequency: Weekly for the first 2 months to establish trust. Thereafter, payments will be made fortnightly or monthly.
All shortlisted candidates will undergo a paid trial of 2-4 hours to assess the quality of work and efficiency.
We will likely use time tracking software for those hired after the trial. If you have concerns about this, please mention them in your application.
