Looking to hire for 30 hours a week to do graphic design and image editing for PRINT MEDIA. You will be working for a commercial printer, and preparing files for printing specifically. If all of your experience is with graphic design for web, please do not apply.
The work is 11am-5PM US Pacific time, Mon-Fri (30 hours). You must be available during these times in order to handle customer requests and revisions as they come in. Pay starts at $5/hour (~$600/month), though you will receive regular raises over time, and other benefits including 13th month pay and paid vacation.
Qualifications:
– Know how to set-up files for printing
– Preparing files for digital print production – checking fonts, links and colors, creating bleeds and crops marks
– Highly experienced with Adobe Creative Suites – InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop
– Working with PDF files
– Understand how to create, edit and open vector files
– Understanding resolution (DPI)
– Preparing files for wide format printing
– Adhere to setup deadlines and have excellent time-management skills
– Self starter with minimal supervision
– Having great organizational skills and have extraordinary attention to detail
– Must have excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
