Graphic Designer & Gift Box Concept Developer

Company Overview:
We are an ecommerce company specializing in curating unique gift box experiences for important occasions such as birthdays, retirement, graduations, and life milestones. We are seeking a talented and creative Graphic Designer & Gift Box Concept Developer to join our team and play a key role in shaping the visual identity and product offerings of our gift boxes.

Position Overview:
As a Graphic Designer & Gift Box Concept Developer, you will be responsible for leading the design process for our gift boxes, packaging, and labels. You will work closely with our two founders to conceptualize and create visually stunning and cohesive gift box designs that resonate with our target audience. Additionally, you will be tasked with ideating new gift box concepts, selecting product offerings, and ensuring that each gift box tells a unique and compelling story.

Responsibilities:
1. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and objectives.
2. Develop creative concepts and design solutions for gift boxes, packaging, and labels that align with our brand identity and target audience.
3. Create detailed design mockups and prototypes for review and approval.
4. Select and source materials, finishes, and printing techniques for packaging and labels.
5. Develop and maintain style guides to ensure consistency across all design assets.
6. Stay informed about design trends, industry best practices, and competitor offerings.
7. Ideate new gift box concepts and product combinations that resonate with our target audience.
8. Conduct market research and analysis to identify emerging trends and opportunities.

Qualifications:
1. Proven experience (5+ years) working as a graphic designer, preferably in the consumer goods or ecommerce industry.
2. Strong portfolio showcasing proficiency in packaging design, label design, and brand development.
3. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and other design software.
4. Excellent creative thinking and problem-solving skills.
5. Strong attention to detail and ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
6. Ability to communicate and present design concepts effectively.
7. Passion for design, creativity, and innovation.
8. Experience with product photography and photo editing is a plus.
