Job description

We are looking a graphic designer to join our team that will strive to create engaging and on-brand graphics for a variety of media. We are searching for a Designer that specializes in Layout and Packaging design with a strong portfolio showcasing product advertising with bold use of color, typography, and call to action along with a clear sense of creative process/concept development. Logo development and brand development is another skillset that we are looking to add.

We work at a fast pace and are looking for a motivated and talented designer with professional experience to add quality into our team from day 1. You will come into our design and marketing teams and will be expected to be able to begin taking on projects (after brand and product education). We care much more about the quality of work and the work ethic of the candidate than the years of experience or degree, but we need a competent and professional designer to join our team as we look to grow our company and creative department.

Responsibilities

Design and develop digital and print assets for various platforms. This includes web assets, emails, digital banners, social media assets, printed assets, and product packaging
Understand and apply brand guidelines across all assets. Ensure on-brand continuity in visual messaging across all channels
Ensure final graphics and layouts are visually appealing, quality controlled, and on-brand
Work on multiple projects at once, and reliably meet tight deadlines without sacrificing quality or concept.
Will need to work both independently and as part of a team
Able to work with very detailed guidelines, as well as have the ability to conceptualize visual solutions from an advertising and utility focused mindset.

Skills

5+ years experience in graphic design
A strong portfolio that shows versatility and strong command of packaging, layout, advertising and branding
Fluent in design process and intentional design, but can work on fast timelines while managing multiple projects at a time
Experience working with a variety of touchpoints; packaging, branding, advertising, displays, layers, and dielines.
Adobe based workflow, specifically Illustrator, In Design, and Photoshop
Excellent communication skills
Ability to manage projects and take ownership over concepts and deliverables
Will be expected to meet or exceed deadlines with a base expectation of completing multiple projects a day (within reason).
Degree in Design, Fine Arts or related field is a plus, not at all required
