We are seeking an inventive Graphic Designer who possesses a deep understanding of sports culture and branding. The successful candidate will find themselves at the forefront of creating a seamless fusion of brand, design, and sports, resulting in a unique and powerful identity for each client.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
– Collaborate with our creative team to develop engaging and eye-catching designs for sports clubs, including marketing materials, team uniforms, and logo redesign campaigns.
– Adhere to, as well as assist in the creation of, brand guidelines for each unique club, ensuring consistency across all designs.
– Bring innovative design ideas to the table, aiming to both reflect the club’s heritage and resonate with modern trends.
– Provide high-quality virtual design support, working closely with team members to manage and prioritise multiple projects simultaneously.
– Create compelling presentations to display design concepts to team members and clients.
– Assisting in the design and creation of print and digital marketing collaterals like brochures, posters, business cards, and sometimes standees.
– Review and update designs based on feedback from teams, stakeholders, and fans.
– Stay current with industry trends, software developments, and design best practices to continually improve output quality.
QUALIFICATIONS:
– Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, or a related field. Extensive experience may substitute for a degree.
– Minimum 1 year of experience in graphic design, with a strong portfolio showcasing a variety of design projects.
– All right to work on designs with the client’s other business.
– Familiarity with sports aesthetics and apparel design is highly desired.
– Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
– Extensive knowledge of print design and its specifications.
– Strong understanding of brand development, colour theory, typography, and other core design principles.
– Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects with tight deadlines.
– Excellent communication skills and the ability to effectively collaborate with a remote team.
– Keen attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
– A passion for sports, especially football, is a plus.
COMPENSATION & WORKING HOURS
– Looking for a PART-TIME position
– Can work on Australian Eastern Standard Time with a time tracker application
– Can start immediately
– We’re based in Australia, so there will be NO GRAVEYARD SHIFT
