Job Description

We are looking for a Graphic Designer with UI/UX experience!

Manage projects alongside Senior Account Manager by:
– Review brief and identify missing gaps which may impact estimation/scheduling
– Identify opportunities within brief e.g. copy
– Supply estimates and flag with Account Manager if hours are almost exhausted
– Schedule work according to production schedule, allowing time for internal proofing
– Review schedule if designers cannot meet deliverables
– Ensure that the process is aligned with our preferred way of working
– Any issues with the client identify a solution to resolve
– Support other designers by:
– Proofing projects and signing internal proofing sheets
– Provide creative directions aligned with AGL brand guidelines
– Engage with the team on working improvements

General responsibilities
– Develop conceptual work and challenge the brief [where applicable]
– Take ownership and accountability of each project managed
– Ensure all artwork is prepared in appropriate format and is of high quality
– Review your work against supplied brief and copy deck prior to sending to Account Manager
– Supply any necessary commentary to support design direction
– Output work in a timely manner
– Be open and honest if tasks cannot be completed on time, keeping in mind that some jobs have
hard-deadlines and cannot be shifted
– Participate in brainstorm sessions with Account Managers [where applicable]
– Develop an understanding of the business e.g. financials
– Develop methods to identify gaps within briefs to convert these into business opportunities
– A working level of knowledge of client’s and industry type

Please note: Your responsibilities may change pending on the projects that are scheduled within the studio. We often take on new projects to challenge ourselves, and most importantly to grow the business.
