Graphic Designer & Video Editor- British Company

We are a British publishing company based in England.

Ultra-organized and Technical Experienced GRAPHIC DESIGNER/ Needed for Creative Entrepreneur – Looking for Long-Term!

You are a highly motivated and talented Graphic Designer ready to join our experienced team. You should demonstrate excellent creativity, design skills, and a great eye for detail and color.

Reporting to the Creative Director, you will be responsible for designing interior layouts (Canva & Indesign) and cover design of books. You should be able to provide creative input and direction.

You must have an impressive portfolio of work demonstrating your ability to create designs. A degree in Graphic Design, Illustration, or another relevant field is preferred but optional. The ideal candidate will also possess strong knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, specifically Photoshop and Illustrator. You should be able to work efficiently and accurately while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

You will be expected to take ownership of the projects by creating visually appealing and original designs while staying true to company standards of excellence. You must stay current on industry trends so that your designs remain fresh and innovative for our customers. Furthermore, they should demonstrate exceptional verbal and written communication skills, as they may be called upon occasionally to collaborate with other departments.

This role requires someone passionate about design, enjoys working collaboratively with others, has an eye for color coordination, is deadline-oriented, and is eager to learn new methods that can increase efficiency. If this sounds like you, then we would love to hear from you!

Responsibilities:

• Research relevant techniques and trends in illustration
• Create quality interior pages and book covers that meet customer needs and expectations
• Brainstorm ideas with the team while taking into account customer feedback
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously within tight deadlines
• Actively collaborate with me (creative director) on creative projects
• Stay up-to-date on current trends in illustration, design, and technology

Requirements:

• Relevant degree or training in graphic design/illustration preferred
• Ability to translate creative ideas into captivating visuals
• Experience creating graphics for digital platforms
• Solid understanding of digital media production, including vector illustration, typography, raster art, etc.
• Excellent communication skills both written & verbal; ability to take direction when needed
• Ability to prioritize tasks efficiently while remaining organized under pressure
