Job Description

Job Title: Graphic Designer, Video Editor, and Social Media Assistant

Company Overview:
We’re looking for an experienced Social media manager/designer/editor for a growing online beauty brand, who can assist with all creative aspects of the business. The ideal candidate is highly skilled in graphic design, video editing, and social media management, with a passion for beauty and a keen eye for aesthetics.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Graphic Design:
– Create visually stunning graphics for various digital channels, including social media posts, email newsletters, website banners, and promotional materials.
– Develop cohesive brand assets, including logos, icons, and brand guidelines, to maintain brand consistency across all touchpoints.
– Collaborate with the marketing team to brainstorm creative concepts and develop visually appealing designs that resonate – with our target audience.
– Stay up-to-date with design trends and best practices to ensure our visual content remains fresh and relevant.

Video Editing:
– Edit and produce high-quality video content for social media platforms, including product tutorials, behind-the-scenes footage, promotional videos, and user-generated content.
– Incorporate visual effects, music, and sound effects to enhance the overall quality and impact of the videos.
– Collaborate with the marketing team to develop video content strategies and execute video campaigns that drive engagement and conversion.
– Optimize videos for different platforms and formats to maximize reach and visibility.

Social Media Management/Assistance:
– Manage and curate content for our social media channels, including Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, and TikTok, to build brand awareness and foster community engagement.
– Develop and execute social media campaigns and promotions to drive traffic, increase followers, and generate leads.
– Monitor social media trends and conversations to identify opportunities for engagement and content creation.
– Respond to comments, messages, and inquiries from followers in a timely and professional manner.

Skills/Requirements:
– Proficiency in Canva, Capcut, and preferably Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator).
– Strong understanding of social media platforms, trends, and best practices.
– Excellent communication skills and a creative mindset.
– Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
– Proactive attitude with the ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
– Passion for beauty and a strong interest in staying updated with the latest beauty trends and developments.
