Server Tech Solution is looking for a E-Commerce Hardware Support Technical / Storage Solutions Specialist to help grow our Technical Team.

and Duties
The main responsibilities of the applicant will be to provide exceptional technical support related to hardware products. This involves assisting customers with inquiries, troubleshooting technical issues and offer guidance on product selection. Responsibilities may include resolving customer concerns via email, chat, offering technical advice, and coordinating with other teams for complex issues. Strong communication skills, product knowledge, and the ability to handle customer inquiries efficiently are essential for the role.
Although daily tasks will be executed independently, there will be a strong emphasis on collaboration between all other team members (i.e. sales, pricing, product and administration)

Role:
Expertise/Mastered:
• Strong understanding of hardware drives, including knowledge of various types (HDDs, SSDs), compatibility, and troubleshooting.
• Enterprise storage Knowledge- Software and Hardware RAID, Troubleshooting ZFS and UnRAID systems, Setup and Maintenance of Server Hardware.
• Troubleshooting general hardware failure including reviewing log files and determining additional steps for confirming reported customer issues.
• Root cause analysis using deductive reasoning to determine if our product or another component in customer’s system is causing errors.

Technical skillset:
• Excellent communication skills to assist with technical issues, providing clear explanations and solutions.
• Ability to analyze and resolve hardware-related problems efficiently, both independently and by collaborating with other teams.
• In-depth Knowledge of the hardware drive products offered, including specifications, features and performance benchmarks.
• Clear and concise communication to guide customers through troubleshooting steps and offer technical assistance via various channels like email, chat.
• Patience to deal with customers who may have varying levels of technical understanding, coupled with empathy to understand and address their concerns.
• Capability to handle multiple customer inquiries simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Readiness to stay updated on new hardware technologies and adapt to changes in products and procedures.
• Commitment to ensuring a positive customer experience by addressing issues promptly and professionally.

• 5+years of experience in customer/technical support (Hardware drive)
• Strong analytical skills
• Experience in online retail and hardware support
• Experience using MS Excel, MS word, Adobe and other tools to analyze a business
• Strong written, interpersonal and communication skills
• Self-driven, taking ownership, following work guidelines
• Good attention to detail, ability to think tactically and strategically
• Knowledge of QuickBooks, Inventory Management System
