About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated HARO Outreach Specialist to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be instrumental in connecting with journalists and media outlets through the Help a Reporter Out (HARO) platform. Your primary goal will be to identify opportunities and craft compelling pitches that align with our brand’s expertise and objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
– Monitor HARO queries regularly to identify relevant media opportunities.
– Develop and send personalized responses to HARO queries, ensuring they align with the journalists’ requirements.
– Build and maintain relationships with journalists and media professionals.
– Collaborate with our marketing and PR teams to align HARO responses with our overall communication strategy.
– Track and report on the outcomes of HARO pitches, including media placements and brand mentions.
– Stay informed about industry trends and news to identify potential opportunities for media engagement.
– Manage time effectively to meet deadlines in a fast-paced, remote environment.

Qualifications:
– Proven experience in public relations, media outreach, or a related field.
– Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
– Ability to craft compelling, concise pitches that capture media attention.
– Strong research skills and attention to detail.
– Familiarity with HARO and other media outreach platforms.
– Ability to work independently in a remote setting.
– Knowledge of the international news market and media landscape is a plus.
