We’re looking for a head of content extraordinaire with experience in the WordPress ecosystem.
You’re an experienced editor and have a strong command of the English language.

You’re passionate about WordPress, Writing, SEO and eat, sleep, and breathe content. ??

Your content will help inform, educate and grow our organic and inorganic traffic and form the basis of our content writing efforts. ????
What Are We Looking For?

We’re looking for ultimately someone passionate around content creation and more specifically editing others content. Our focus is on written content with the opportunity to expand into other content types as we grow and evolve together.

You should have some basic understanding of WordPress. Ideally you’ve worked on a WordPress website before, wrote about a WordPress product and are familiar with major players in our space like Yoast, Elementor, and WooCommerce.

You’ll be playing a critical role in our team and helping us make the best content in our space. The content you produce will have an impact across the business from helping users understand our software to growing our organic traffic on google.

SEO knowledge is a must!

Who are you, and What do you Bring?

Passionate about editing.
Strong understanding of SEO.
Baseline WordPress knowledge (the more the merrier!).
Native or bi-lingual English proficiency.
Previous experience working as an editor.
Strong people management skills.

And of course we expect that you have a stable work environment. That means you have a computer, a stable internet connection and can take and edit screenshots to fit our content style guidelines.

What Does Success Look Like in the First 90 days?
Month 1:

Learn our products deeply. You should have a solid understanding of our primary products within the first month and will be expected to pass our internal company quiz on our products.
Edited 2 articles.
Month 2:

Now you’re on a roll! You’ll be editing 10 articles a week.
Editing your articles based on feedback.
Uploading and formatting your articles to perfection on our sites.
Month 3:

You’ve taken on feedback and are knocking it out the park with 10-15 articles a week that you’re editing and getting published.
You know our products inside and out.
You’ve evolved your knowledge of the WordPress ecosystem, maybe even became part of the community.
You’re taking on updating some of our old knowledge base docs.
You’ve embedded into our team and helped us grow and evolve like we help you. ????
