The Acquisition Department is a group of high-performance teams consisting of media buyers, Shopify designers, CRO specialists & developers in order to help clients acquire new customers through paid media channels effectively.

Our team of 97 entrepreneurial-minded people runs business marathons together like a professional sports team. HOW YOU WILL SPEND YOUR TIME

Lead & manage the Media Buy team:
• Track team capacity and manage team workload.
• Hire new team members when necessary.
• Care for each team member’s personal development to maximize their growth, satisfaction, and well-being.
• Arrange performance reviews.

Lead Media Buy efforts across all clients:
• Be accountable for meeting clients’ goals and objectives in terms of Media buying.
• Collaborate with brand managers and clients to develop and adjust Media Buy strategies.
• Work very closely with the Acquisition Creative teams as well as the Influencer team to develop creative strategies.
• Work on standardizing and templating reports and cross-functional briefs.
• Provide consistent feedback to brand managers and the Shopify team on how we can improve our acquisition funnels (CRO).

Process building and optimizing:
• Keep SOPs updated and perform regular retrospectives to improve on them.
• Assist other teams in documenting the Media Buy part of their core processes.

Service definition and refinement:
• Keep Media Buy-related productized services up to date, and coordinate with our Marketing and Sales team for proposing changes or the creation of new services.
• Ensure team profitability.

THE PERFECT CANDIDATE FOR THIS POSITION

• Minimum of two (2) years using Facebook Ads, Google Ads, and TikTok Ads.
• Minimum of 1 year managing a team.
• Experience in an agency and dealing with clients is a plus.
• Excellent in Facebook and Google Ads, using all types of campaign objectives and placements.
• Familiar with data and Google Analytics, with KPI-& data-driven mindset and strong analytical skills.
• Expert in Google Collaboration Tools (Google Docs, Sheets, and Slides).
• Understands consumer behaviors across digital platforms and is able to perform research and come up with usable insights to refine our strategies.
