Position: Head of SEO

The Head of Search Engine Optimization will lead our company’s SEO efforts and be responsible for delivering outstanding results. This individual will be the subject matter expert on all things SEO and will be responsible for developing and implementing effective SEO strategies. The Head of SEO will be adept at keyword research, site optimization, technical SEO, and link building and will stay up-to-date with industry trends and updates. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5-7 years of experience in SEO, a strong track record of success in delivering results, and a passion for staying current with industry developments.

This is a FULL-TIME REMOTE position. Must be able to commit to working hours between 9:00 AM-5:00 PM EST.

The Head of Search Engine Optimization must possess a combination of technical, creative, and leadership skills, such as:
* Strategic thinking: Ability to develop and execute a long-term SEO strategy that aligns with business goals.
* Technical SEO knowledge: Understanding of search engine algorithms and website architecture. Understand how to use internal linking to improve search engine rankings. Knowledge of on-site optimization techniques such as title tags, meta descriptions, header tags, and URL structure.
* Keyword research and analysis: Knowledge of how to conduct keyword research, analyze competition and create content that is optimized for search engines.
* Content creation and optimization: Ability to create high-quality, relevant, and optimized content for websites and blogs. Be able to inform content creation using keywords and meta tags, and keyword research.
* Link building: Knowledge of how to acquire quality backlinks from other websites to improve search engine rankings.
* Analytics and data analysis: Proficiency in using analytics tools to track website traffic and performance and ability to interpret and make decisions based on data. Ability to monitor website traffic and make data-driven decisions to improve on-site optimization.
* Content creation and optimization: Ability to write optimized content that includes keywords and meta tags and an understanding of how to use keyword research to inform content creation.
* Website structure and architecture: Knowledge of how to optimize website structure, navigation, and internal linking to improve search engine rankings.
* HTML, CSS, and [removed] Basic proficiency in coding languages and the ability to make changes to website code to improve on-site optimization.
* Adaptability and continuous learning: A willingness to stay up-to-date with changes in the SEO industry, including new technologies and best practices.
* Attention to detail: Strong attention to detail and the ability to identify and fix technical errors that may negatively impact search engine rankings.
* Communication and collaboration: Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, such as content creation and development teams.
* Leadership: the ability to inspire and lead teams, build relationships with clients, and drive results.

HARD REQUIREMENTS:
Has A MINIMUM of 3-5 years of experience performing SEO
Excellent spoken and written English
Must be able to showcase measurable results generated for previous clients or employers
With excellent communication, leadership, and team-building skills
Can work during Eastern Timezone
