We are currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Remote Administrative Assistant. This is a unique opportunity for a candidate located overseas, as we are willing to provide comprehensive training for the right individual.

Responsibilities:

Chart Compliance:
Ensure accurate and timely maintenance of patient records in electronic health records (EHR) systems.
Monitor and uphold compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.

Billing Authorizations:
Coordinate with billing teams to ensure accurate and timely submission of billing authorizations.
Verify and track insurance information, ensuring all necessary documentation is in place.

Patient Attendance Follow-up:
Implement strategies to follow up on patient attendance and appointment adherence.
Communicate with patients to address any attendance-related issues and provide necessary support.

Healthcare Familiarity:
Demonstrate a basic understanding of addiction treatment processes and healthcare terminology.
Stay informed about industry trends and updates related to addiction treatment.

Electronic Health Records (EHR):
Proficiently navigate and utilize EHR systems for record-keeping and information retrieval.
Ensure the confidentiality and security of patient information.

Data Tracking and Reporting:
Establish and maintain systems for tracking patient data and treatment progress.
Generate reports as needed for management and regulatory purposes.

Organization:
Maintain a well-organized system for managing documents, correspondence, and records.
Implement efficient filing and archiving systems for easy retrieval of information.

Qualifications:

Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to adapt and learn quickly in a remote work environment.
Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and comfortable learning new software systems.
Previous experience in healthcare administration or addiction treatment is a plus but not mandatory.
