We are seeking a skilled Healthcare Business Development Representative (BDR) who will also serve as an Executive Assistant within our dynamic team. This role is essential for expanding our footprint in the healthcare industry, focusing on business development rather than clinical care. The ideal candidate will be adept at identifying and developing business opportunities, maintaining relationships with hospital and healthcare business executives, and supporting executive functions. Our startup specializes in creating connections between C-suite executives in healthcare and other innovative startups, facilitating strategic partnerships and collaboration.
Responsibilities:
Healthcare Business Development: Drive business expansion within the healthcare sector by identifying new opportunities, managing relationships, and securing meetings with hospital and healthcare executives. Use industry knowledge to effectively communicate the value of our services.
Strategic Engagement: Develop and execute outreach strategies that resonate with healthcare professionals, ensuring alignment with industry standards and expectations.
Executive Support: Manage the executive’s calendar, ensuring efficient scheduling and time management. Prepare for meetings by gathering comprehensive background information on participants and relevant business topics.
Communication and Representation: Act as the primary point of contact for business communications, representing the executive and the company with professionalism in the healthcare industry.
Bookkeeping: Perform basic bookkeeping tasks, ensuring accurate financial tracking and reporting in line with healthcare industry practices.
Project Coordination: Support various business initiatives related to healthcare, coordinating tasks, compiling data, and facilitating project completion.
Requirements:
Proven experience in business development, particularly within the healthcare sector, with a strong understanding of hospital and healthcare business dynamics.
Previous experience as an Executive Assistant, demonstrating capacity for high-level organizational and administrative skills.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with healthcare professionals and executives.
Familiarity with CRM platforms and digital scheduling tools.
Proficiency in QuickBooks, with the ability to perform bookkeeping tasks and financial tracking.
Knowledge of healthcare industry regulations.
Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects with attention to detail and confidentiality.
Preferred Qualifications:
Background in healthcare sales or marketing, with established connections in the industry.
