Healthcare Data Entry

Help our naturopathic medical office enter lab results into a medical chart note and graph so we can better track lab results/values for our patients in a very timely manner. This is an ongoing job that may be busy some days/weeks and be slow other days/weeks. We would pay you for 20 hrs/wk regardless if you worked 20 hrs or not (ex: if you only had 8 hrs of work one week, we would still pay you for 20 hrs). This work/job is highly self-directed – you would need to monitor our Electronic Medical Records system to process any/all Lab Results as they are received. We pride ourselves on our efficiency and response time, so you will need to be highly efficient and responsive in these duties. If you are great at this task, we may invite you to add more duties and become a member of our administrative team to help with phones, patient communications, scheduling, etc. We will provide training and have continued communication and direction on a daily/weekly basis.

Required Skills/Tools:
– VERY Detail Oriented – especially with numbers and accuracy of data entry
– Must be Efficient, Flexible, and Open to receiving feedback & direction
– Must have Experience & Knowledge/Understanding of Medical Lab Results
– Basic Knowledge of Medical Records, Charting, Electronic Medical Record systems, etc
– Desire to be a part of a medical office team that is passionate about the healthcare we provide
– Must have reliable internet access with a secure network (our EMR will not work on an unsecure network)
– Must have a full understanding of American HIPAA Laws & experience protecting patient health information
