Are you a seasoned recruitment professional with a passion for healthcare and a proven track record in nurse recruitment? We are seeking a Healthcare Nurse Recruiter to join our team and play a vital role in sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding qualified nursing candidates for healthcare facilities in the NY-NJ area. In this end-to-end recruitment position, you will be responsible for managing the entire recruitment lifecycle, ensuring a seamless and efficient process that results in the acquisition of top nursing talent.

Responsibilities:
– Collaborate with hiring managers and stakeholders to understand nursing staffing needs and develop effective recruitment strategies.
– Create and post compelling job advertisements on various platforms to attract a diverse pool of nursing candidates.
– Screen resumes, applications, and conduct initial assessments to identify qualified candidates.
– Conduct in-depth interviews to assess candidates’ skills, qualifications, and cultural fit for healthcare environments.
– Coordinate and schedule interviews with hiring managers and facilitate the interview process.
– Extend job offers to selected candidates, including negotiating compensation and benefits as needed.
– Guide candidates through the onboarding process, ensuring all necessary documentation (RN licenses, medical records, certifications) are collected and verified.
– Maintain clear and consistent communication with candidates, hiring managers, and other stakeholders throughout the recruitment process.
– Develop and nurture relationships with nursing schools, associations, and other relevant networks to source potential candidates.
– Stay up-to-date with industry trends, healthcare regulations, and labor market dynamics affecting nurse recruitment.

Requirements:
– Proven experience in end-to-end nurse recruitment, preferably within the NY-NJ healthcare sector.
– Strong understanding of nursing roles, qualifications, and licensing requirements in the United States.
– Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with candidates and stakeholders.
– Demonstrated ability to effectively screen and assess nursing candidates for skills and cultural fit.
– Familiarity with relevant recruitment software and platforms for posting jobs and tracking candidates.
– Detail-oriented mindset with exceptional organizational skills to manage multiple candidates and tasks simultaneously.
– Knowledge of healthcare compliance, licensing, and credentialing processes.
– Ability to work independently and proactively in a fast-paced environment.
– Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, Healthcare Administration, or a related field (preferred).
