Who are we?
We are Byron Film, a content creation agency that started out as a small production company in Byron Bay, Australia. Now, we have evolved into a collective of award winning filmmakers who collaborate on a wide variety of projects. Each filmmaker brings their own unique flair and skill set to every production.
We are not a production company, but rather a production community, with the shared goal in creating beautiful visual imagery that captivates and inspires.

THE JOB
– Approximately 30 hours of work per week ongoing
– 3 x weekly check-ins with creative producer (morning and/or evening)
– Ability to have video meetings in AEST/AEDT business hours
– Understand and take notes on project briefs
– Download assets
– Organise project files and assets according to company standards
– Relink proxy files
– Sync audio with time codes
– Identify and grab the best selects from A and B rolls
– Select music track suiting the style
– Create simple animation with logo
– Adapt fusion templates to project needs
– Sounds design
– EQ audio
– Colour grading
– Export and deliver using Click to view

Highly experienced with:
– DaVinci Resolve (knowledge of fusion an advantage, colour page and fairlight)
– Click to view
– Blackmagic Cloud
– Reliable internet connection to download proxy files and work offline & online
For the right person, we are looking to offer a retainer of $,1000USD per month for a minimum of 30 hours per week.
As the role grows and the editor develops, this rate may increase.
