The 3rd Shift / Weekend Scheduling Coordinator is responsible for the monitoring of the work schedules for Home Care Direct Care Workers (DCW’s), during the hours that the office is not open to the public.
The total work hours available range between 32.0 and 69.5 per week, depending upon candidate availability and the total work hours desired. Due to the number of total hours available, it’s likely the shifts will need to be filled by more than one candidate, so the budgeted monthly compensation could range between $175 USD (weekday mornings only) to $748 USD (weekends only) to $1,626 USD (all available hours), dependent upon the shifts that the candidate(s) are available to cover.
Available shifts include:
M – F: 7:00 AM – 8:30 AM
M – F: 5:00 PM – 11:00 PM
S – S: 7:00 AM – 11:00 PM
All times are shown for the Eastern U.S.A. / -5 UTC.
The total work hours stated do not include observed U.S.A. holidays, which would be compensated at 1.5x the standard rate, if the candidate wishes to work on those days.
The primary responsibilities of this position include:
1. Answering phone calls and check and respond to emails during the designated work hours.
2. Learning, understanding, and utilizing WellSky Personal Care, the company’s client and staffing management software.
3. Staffing open shifts for call outs, and ensuring that DCW’s clock in and out on time.
4. Monitoring daily schedules, documenting any issues in the WellSky platform.
5. Calling clients in the event of DCW call outs, searching for substitute DCW’s, and informing the client of any DCW changes.
6. Communicating with the clients, client contacts, DCW’s and office staff as necessary about all issues related to the client’s wellbeing and services.
7. Emailing on-call reports daily that document events from each shift, including listening to and documenting voice mails left by DCW’s and or clients.
