We are seeking a full-time customer service team member for our fast-growing Vacation Rental Management Company based in San Diego, California, USA. In this role, you will work directly with the business owner to assist with ongoing job duties. You must be process-driven, a great problem solver, and able to figure things out on your own with minimal direction. You should be able to create your own structured work environment and evaluate pricing strategy and update it on various channels.
Other responsibilities include planning, executing, and managing digital content, relying on numbers to make data-driven decisions that guide the overall content strategy, working with systems to seamlessly manage content across multiple channels, creating evaluations per property and offering recommendations, promptly responding to guest inquiries over messaging and SMS messaging, customizing automated scheduled messages to guests, researching and reporting findings, and performing other job duties as assigned.
To excel in this position, you should possess excellent written English skills (near native English ability), be internet savvy, have a high aptitude for learning new software, be very organized, and be able to follow video and audio instructions by the owner and document it in written form.
You must also have reliable high-speed internet and have a backup available, a second computer screen, a high-energy, positive attitude, and be eager to help grow the business. You should have a go-getter personality, take initiative, suggest better ways of doing things, and go beyond what was asked. Maintaining continuous contact via chat with the business owner throughout the day is also required. You should write a daily report of challenges, things learned, and goals.
This is a full-time position with a work schedule of 5 days at 8 hours per day. The starting pay is $400/month USD paid via Western Union in American Dollars $. We offer a one-week paid trial to determine if you are a good fit.
