We have a fantastic opportunity for a talented apartment hotel manager to join our
great team at Granada Apartments in Blackpool, United Kingdom.
Granada Apartments is a fast-growing chain of 5 apartment hotels with a very high
standard in cleaning and service. We provide 35 self-contained holiday apartments
in 5 different locations in Blackpool (all within 6 km range).
Perfect for an experienced Hotel Manager looking for their next step.
Working alongside the director and current hotel manager in the day to day running
of hotel procedures whilst being fully focused in driving the team from the front
operationally.
We are looking for a passionate and committed person with previous management
experience. Organisational skills are a must alongside the ability to communicate
with staff and guests at all levels.
You will work closely with the cleaning, maintenance team, and Virtual Assistant
team in achieving company targets and providing a professional service to the
guests.
The job also requires the candidate to be hands-on with day-to day operations
including cleaning, waste disposal and minor maintenance work. It is also a
requirement that the candidate needs to do intensive cleaning to provide necessary
supervision to the new member of the cleaning team.
Hotel Manager Job Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management or Business Administration
Management (with hotel background)
• At least 5 years’ experience as Hotel Manager
• Age should be between 30-45 years old.
• Live on site in the manager’s accommodation (which is currently a 30 sqm
furnished one bed-room apartment on the sea front in a nice and quiet area of
Blackpool with 2 x5 5“ smart TVs and 360Mbit internet)
• Have at university degree in hotel management, hospitality or business
administration or similar degrees
• Knowledgeable in Accounting especially Cost Centre Accounting and
Controlling (We use Xero as an accounting software)
• Knowledgeable in IT (we use TP links for wi-fi, RemoteLocks for SmartLocks,
Tokeet as Channel manager, OTAs – , AirBnB and Expedia,
Stripe for payment system, Asana for task management, Google workspace
will be our cloud system)
• Have knowledge of MS Office and especially Excel and Word
• Fluent in English and advance communication skills.
o IELTS requirement is overall band score of 7.
• Valid Driving License
o Knows how to drive automatic and manual transmission.
• Be well groomed, polite, well-spoken and an approachable demeanour
• Be very reliable and ALWAYS available on phone.
• Should be able to work as Granada Virtual Assistant for at least 3 months full
time (on probation) before processing the visa.
