Responsibilities:
Collaborate with the owner to understand their needs, preferences, and project requirements.
Develop residential architectural designs, floor plans, and elevations using Chief Architect software.
Ensure designs comply with local building codes, regulations, and zoning restrictions.
Incorporate sustainable design principles and energy-efficient solutions into the plans.
Create accurate and detailed construction documents, including drawings and specifications.
Collaborate with the construction team, interior designers, and other stakeholders to ensure successful implementation of designs.
Stay updated with industry trends, new materials, and construction techniques to continuously enhance design capabilities.
Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines and client expectations are met.

Requirements:
Proven experience as a House Plan Designer, utilizing Chief Architect software.
Strong proficiency in Chief Architect software.
Extensive knowledge of residential building codes, regulations, and zoning requirements.
Demonstrated ability to translate client requirements into functional and aesthetically pleasing designs.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in creating construction documents.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with team members.
Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks efficiently.
Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Design, or a related field is preferred.
Portfolio of previous house plan designs is highly desirable.
