Description
Strata Consulting is looking for a highly motivated self-starter to join our team as HR Analyst. This position partners with the People Success functional areas and helps to drive continuous improvement and processes by leveraging tools and technology. The position will also serve as a functional and administrative team resource for the Organization Operations Team.
The candidate should possess an understanding of Human Resources Policies, Human Resources Technology, and must always maintain confidentiality.
Role and Responsibilities
Assist with all internal and external People Success-related inquiries or requests.
Maintain employees’ records.
Assist with performance management procedures, manage the pre-onboarding process, file maintenance, background checks, scheduling orientations, weekly hire emails, etc.
Refer potential new-hires to department managers when appropriate for interviews through Jira/Recruiting Board.
Respond to all interviewed applicants via Jira within the required time frame.
Coordinate the onboarding process for new hires using Strata intranet.
Perform orientations and update records of new staff.
Assist the HR department in maintaining accurate employee records through HRIS and EOR.
Prepare and manage confidential material. Being privy to such critical information there is a need to maintain good practice with integrity and subtlety
This position requires the individual to exercise judgment and initiative, practice a high degree of flexibility and operate effectively in a fast-moving environment.
Calendar management for internal and external meetings using GSuite, decision-making, and prioritization skills with regards to managing action items
Planning/project management skills to coordinate employee events
Resolve time critical issues with a high degree of precision and exhibit strong organizational, written and verbal communication skills
Support other assigned functions.
Keep up-to-date with the latest HR trends and best practices.
Assist in the production of Employee newsletter through People Success intranet.
Provide back-up support for additional members of the administrative team
Interact appropriately and skillfully with senior executives within and outside the company, as well as customers

Qualifications and Education Requirements
Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent work experience
1+ years of experience in an HR support role
Knowledge of HR principles, functions, methods, and best practices
Strong emotional intelligence and exceptional interpersonal skills
Prior work in a matrix environment a plus
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to manage sensitive and confidential information
Highly organized and great attention to detail
Ability to handle multiple projects in a busy, fast-paced environment and meet frequent and competing deadlines
Proficient in G-Suite (Gmail, Docs, Sheet, and Slides) and a number of online productivity platforms. Quick to learn new platforms
Ability to be flexible in a changing work environment
Ability to work independently and collaboratively

Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills
Proven ability to handle confidential and sensitive matters, utilizing sound judgement in a complex environment; knowledge of US and international labor laws for countries in India, Ukraine, Romania
Experience implementing HR practices within a consumer, production, or manufacturing environment consisting of exempt and nonexempt production workforce is strongly preferred
Experience with HRIS systems, preferably Zenefits
Knowledge of HR operations best practices and experience working with ticket management technology like Jira
