Job Summary:
The HR Assistant is responsible for offering an assistance to HR Generalist of complex consultants’ payroll processing, recruitment process and day-to-day admin task. This role involves collaborating with various departments to maintain payroll records through verification and responsiveness to the colleagues and CEO of the company.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist the HR Department for the following tasks:
Payroll Processing:
Collect and verify time sheets, attendance records, and other relevant data for payroll calculations.
Calculate and process employee salaries, wages, bonuses, and deductions.
Recruitment Process:
Assist the HR Generalist by understanding the Job Description for initially screening technical/non-technical roles, and subjecting the candidates for a Trial Task
Conversational level of English Language to accommodate candidates with different nationalities
Familiar with Job Portals (Indeed, OLJ, Well found etc.)
Record Keeping:
Maintain accurate assistance and up-to-date employee payroll records and documentation.
Prepare and maintain payroll reports for auditing and compliance purposes.
Problem Resolution:
Investigate and resolve payroll discrepancies or errors in a timely manner.
Address employee payroll-related questions and concerns.
Communication:
Responsiveness to colleagues concern and inquiries in the active hours (outside sleeping hours)
due to varying time zone and schedules of every department from different countries.
On-boarding Process:
Give a walk-through in the HR aspect (time tracker, payroll methods, setting up the accounts needed) to the newly hired consultants in the team
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Human Resource degree is a MUST
Experience in interviewing candidates for Technical and Non-Technical Role (pre-screening)
Have an experience of working virtual for one (1) year and more
Board Passer is a PLUS as an indicator of commitment and discipline in the workspace
Experience in Hubstaff or any related to Time Tracking Tool/Application is a huge plus
Prior experience in payroll processing
Proficiency in using payroll software (Spreadsheet, Excel etc.)
Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy
Excellent responsiveness in the inquiries
Additional Requirements:
Familiarity with Time Tracker (Hubstaff etc.) is essential Discretion and ability to handle confidential information.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
