Responsibilities:
– Assist manager with day-to-day tasks.
– Assist with recruiting and onboarding.
– Assist in building a strong company culture.
– Assist manager in tracking and managing department expenses.
– Respond to team members’ HR questions (for example, the number of vacation days they’re eligible for).
– Assist in compliance related tasks.
– Ability to maintain absolute confidentiality regarding team members, payroll, and company information.
Requirements:
– At least 2-3 years of work experience in Human Resources for a company in the United States.
– Perfect attendance. Must be reliable.
– Experience recruiting, interviewing, and onboarding team members.
– Excellent communication and English writing skills.
– Excellent organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills.
– Bring a positive and a can do attitude to work everyday.
Nice to haves:
– Basic computer support experience.
– Knowledge of United States federal and CA state HR law and policies related to personnel, recruiting, compliance, benefits, and/or payroll.
– SHRM-CP certification.
Preferred Working Hours:
– Monday to Friday, 9 am – 6 pm PST.
