Job Description

We are a registered retail company located in the San Francisco Bay Area, California, United States. We are doing e-commerce business selling physical products on different platforms, such as Amazon, eBay, Shopify, etc. We have a team of remote workers (i.e. VAs), as well as onsite employees in our warehouse for packaging and product distributions.

We are looking for a dedicated HR to join our team, to help the management team manage. It is a part-time position as a start, with an increasing number of hours be added as more tasks are assigned.

Pay: $4/hour; Looking for 25 hours per four (4) weeks. Payment schedule: Weekly ($25/week) on Friday.
The actual tasks should take around 2-6 hours per week or less. We will be using Hubstaff to track the actual working hours. We we will pay at 25 hours if less than the proposed working hours, and pay accordingly in case it goes beyond 25 hours per four weeks. Working hours are flexible, but will be around the time we issue payrolls, do weekly & monthly statistics.

Example HR tasks:
To give you an idea, here are a few examples of the tasks you will be performing:
• Maintenance of job requirements, core competencies and KPIs of all positions for remote workers and onsite workers
• Monitoring activity and performance management, and addressing any performance issues
• Maintaining employee payment schedules
• Confirm working hours and issue the payrolls
We may add additional hiring responsibilities.

Example bookkeeping tasks:
– Help ensure all expenses/income are properly accounted for
– Invoices/Receipts management

SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS
• Undergraduate degree in relevant majors
• MUST HAVE PRIOR WORKING EXPERIENCE IN ECOMMERCE RELATED FIELD
• Prior experience in business admin, HR, recruitment, onboarding, termination, and screening; preferably longer than 2 years
• Passion for managing people
• Skills in time and people management skills
• Knowledge of Quickbooks experience is desired
• Excellent English communication skills
