JOB DESCRIPTION

Cosy Hauz is a relatively new and dynamic property development company based in the U.K. headquartered in South West London.

From very humble beginnings, we are now a multi-million-pound, award-winning company. Much of our success has been due to our innovative and market-leading utilisation of Virtual Assistants based in The Philippines.

We believe that we work with our Filipino colleagues in an integrated and mutually beneficial way, and our CEO recently visited The Philippines to meet our team face-to-face. In addition, we heavily invest in training our VAs to ensure that they remain current with their skills and understand the industry we work in and the dynamics of Cosy Hauz.

THE ROLE

As the Human Resource Manager, you will be responsible for managing the spectrum of Human Resource Management, which includes Payroll Administration, Recruitment & Selection, Training & Development, Performance Management, Employee Relations, Compensation & Benefits, related staff insurance, and other HR and Administration tasks.

Job Description:
Responsible for the full spectrum of HR functions, including but not limited to recruitment, performance review, HR operation and administration, employee engagement, training, and development
Talent acquisition: work with hiring managers to recruit the right talents, develop recruitment strategies and facilitate the process of recruitment from sourcing to screening candidates, assisting with interviews and employment contracts
Performance management: manage the performance review process from objectives setting, mid-review to a year-end review
HR operation: ensure smooth on-boarding and off-boarding processes and procedures, implement enhancement of on/off-boarding processes to ensure seamless end-to-end HR operations
Create, update, review, and improve HR policies and employee handbooks in different jurisdictions.
Assist year-end compensation review process.
Ensure employee data accuracy in HR reports and HR systems
Involve in HR-related projects such as implementation or enhancement of HRIS system
Being well-versed in local labor laws and having knowledge of labor laws in other jurisdictions is an advantage. Experience with payroll is highly preferred
Handle employee relations issues and grievances
Stay aligned with Finance and Payroll as employee needs arise.
Guide employees through policy and practice implementation.
Integrate and partner with colleagues in the Recruiting, Learning & Development, Compensation, Legal, and People Operations Programs teams to implement solutions and help scale the business.
Leverage data to partner with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, increase performance, and improve retention
Lead and participate in equity, diversity, and inclusion initiatives
Assist with other People Operations-related projects / admin tasks as assigned
May be asked to do some admin tasks

Strong interpersonal and communication skills to work with different people from different countries and backgrounds
Strong sense of confidentiality
Able to bring in new ideas and best practices from prior HR working experiences to assist the growth of the HR function
Good project management and organisational skills
Reliability and honesty
Attention to detail
Expert knowledge of databases, word processors and spreadsheets
have a growth mindset and are always happy to learn new skills
Able to work unsupervised, self-motivated and a good team player

Experience required
Bachelor’s degree in HR, business, or equivalent.
At least 3 years of relevant working experience in HR. UK HR is preferred but not required.
Strong understanding of PH Contractor Law and Compliance (UK is a plus but not required
Hands-on experience with Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS)
You will be proficient in Google suite, Microsoft WORD and EXCEL
Prior experience of working virtually required. Ideally you will have worked for a U.K. based company previously, and it would be nice, but not essential.

WORK HOURS AND BENEFITS

This is a full-time role; you will be expected to work 40 hours per week.

Your working day will be aligned to the U.K. working day, and you will be expected to work from 3pm PHT to 12am PHT.

Starting rate will be £500.00 per month, and all VAs are eligible for a salary review every year!
