Below are your key responsibilities:
* Recruitment and Staffing: Oversee the recruitment and onboarding process, including job posting, candidate selection, interviewing, background checks, and orientation of new employees. Develop and maintain talent acquisition strategies.
* Employee Relations: Manage and resolve employee issues, conflicts, and grievances. Ensure fair and consistent application of company policies and procedures. Promote a positive workplace culture.
* Performance Management: Implement performance appraisal systems, conduct performance evaluations, and work with managers to identify areas for employee development and improvement. Develop and manage performance improvement plans.
* Training and Development: Identify training needs and coordinate employee training and development programs. Ensure employees have access to opportunities for skill enhancement and career growth.
* Compensation and Benefits: Administer compensation and benefits programs, including salary reviews, bonuses, and benefits packages. Ensure compliance with labor laws and market standards.
* Compliance: Stay up-to-date with labor laws, regulations, and industry standards, ensuring the organization’s HR practices remain in compliance. Handle legal matters, such as employment contracts and disputes, in collaboration with legal counsel.
* Policy Development: Develop, implement, and update HR policies and procedures in accordance with best practices and legal requirements. Ensure employees are aware of and adhere to company policies.
* Employee Engagement: Develop and implement employee engagement initiatives, including surveys, feedback mechanisms, and recognition programs, to foster a positive and productive work environment.
* Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and confidential HR records, including employee data, personnel files, and other documentation.
* Conflict Resolution: Act as a mediator and provide guidance in resolving conflicts and disputes between employees or between employees and management.
* Diversity and Inclusion: Promote diversity and inclusion initiatives within the organization to create an inclusive and equitable workplace.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field (Master’s degree is highly preferred)
* Several years of experience in HR roles, with a track record of increasing responsibilities.
* Strong knowledge of HR laws, regulations, and best practices.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
* Leadership and team management abilities.
* Problem-solving and decision-making skills.
* Proficiency with HR software and systems for managing HR functions.
* Strong ethical and confidential handling of sensitive information.
