Job Description

Responsibilities:

Strategic HR Oversight:
Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with the unique needs of a remote workforce.
Provide guidance to senior management on HR issues impacting business operations.

Employee Lifecycle Management:
Track and celebrate work anniversaries and birthdays to enhance employee engagement.
Oversee leave requests, ensuring timely approvals and maintaining accurate records.

Remote Work Compliance:
Ensure that employees are meeting contractual obligations, including tracking hours worked and maintaining compliance with remote work policies.

Recruitment and Onboarding:
Lead recruitment efforts for remote positions, including sourcing, interviewing, and hiring.
Implement efficient onboarding processes for new remote employees.

Employee Database Management:
Maintain a comprehensive database of corporate information, including employee records and performance data.
Regularly update employee information to reflect changes in roles or personal details.

Employee Handbook Maintenance:
Keep the employee handbook current, reflecting any policy updates or changes in remote work procedures.
Communicate changes to employees and ensure understanding.

Benefits Administration:
Manage health insurance allowances and approval.
Oversee sick days and ensure compliance with company policies.

Team Engagement Initiatives:
Identify ideas for employee engagement initiatives and activities.
Plan, implement and oversee initiatives to foster remote team building and collaboration.

Salary Administration:
Manage monthly salary invoice administration and payment processes.
Collaborate with finance to ensure accurate and timely salary payments.

Training and Development:
Identify training needs for remote teams and coordinate relevant programs.
Ensure ongoing professional development opportunities for employees.

Legal Compliance:
Stay updated on evolving remote work regulations and adjust policies accordingly.
Ensure HR practices adhere to all relevant labor laws.

Metrics and Reporting:
Develop key performance indicators (KPIs) for HR processes.
Regularly analyze and report on HR metrics to senior management.

Performance Management:
Implement performance management processes for remote employees
Work with managers to set performance quarterly or monthly goals.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
Proven experience in HR management, particularly with remote teams.
Familiarity with online collaboration tools and virtual communication platforms.
Strong understanding of labor laws related to remote work.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Experience with: Microsoft Teams, Microsoft Office
Experience with and/ or wiliness to learn and use: ClickUp (project management software), WeChat, time tracking software.
Experience:

Minimum of 3 years of experience in senior HR management.
Experience with remote workforce management is highly desirable.
