About the Company: Our Company is the largest fire equipment testing company in the United States. We
work with local fire departments across the Mid-Atlantic and Midwest United States, to test their
equipment (primarily fire hoses, ground ladders, and pumps) to ensure they meet all performance and
safety requirements.

Job Responsibilities:
Primary Responsibilities:
Hiring – filtering applicants on a daily basis, conducting initial screening calls, and scheduling second round interviews (almost entirely done through Indeed).
Payroll – processing weekly payroll in Paychex.
HR Admin – onboarding/offboarding employees. Handling employee questions on pay etc.
Managing Workforce App – this is our scheduling and timekeeping application that the right candidate will need to learn and be an expert in.
-The HR and Hiring Lead works in conjunction with the CEO, our Crew Chiefs, and
our crew members spread out across the country to effectively recruit and retain the employees we
need to meet our customers’ needs and continue growing.
-We are seeking a skilled and experienced Payroll and Hiring Lead to join our team. The ideal candidate
will have a strong background working with Indeed and Paychex and skill sets in administrative support,
payroll processing, recruiting, communications, and interpersonal skills.
-Responsibilities will include overseeing payroll processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with
relevant regulations, managing employee hiring and onboarding, and maintaining employee records.
-The Payroll and Hiring Lead will also handle communication with employees regarding payroll and hiring
matters, resolving any issues or concerns that may arise.
