OVERVIEW:

The Human Resources (HR) Specialist is a professional who is responsible for the daily administrative and HR duties of an organization. The HR Specialist will do the revision of job description (as needed), posting of open jobs on different channels, screening of applicants, & conducting interviews

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Hiring
– Coordinate hiring activities
– Resume screening and initial phone screens
– Conducting interviews and keeping calendars for all hiring teams and candidates
– Orientation for new hires
– New hire onboarding (e.g., preparing documents, coordinating orientation agendas)
– Maintain candidate database
– Handle records and paperwork
– Preparing onboarding activities for newly hired employees

2. Admin
– Day to to day operations of the HR Functions and duties
– Clerical and administrative tasks
– Compiling and updating employee records (hard and soft copies)
– Process documentation and prepare reports relating to personnel activities (staffing, recruitment, training, grievances, performance evaluations etc)
– Coordinate HR projects (meetings, training, surveys etc) and take minutes
– Deal with employee requests regarding human resources issues, rules, and regulations
– Coordinate with payroll with regards to timesheet, leaves and other payroll concerns.

Qualifications:
– 3-5 years previous experience in the HR Field, most especially on the recruitment side
– HR experience in an eCommerce company is an advantage but not required
– Familiarity with hiring practices and stages (screening, interview, assessment, onboarding)
– Experience using recruiting software and social networks for recruiting
– Ability to work independently and as part of a team
– Strong organizational and time management skills
– Great attention to detail
– Outstanding communication skills
– Problem-solving ability
– Can work with less supervision
– Excellent Communication & Writing Skills
– Proficient in MS Office
– Organized and Meticulous
