Position Overview:

As an HR Specialist, you’ll play a crucial role in staffing, and new employee orientation. Your ability to work independently and your familiarity with ecommerce operations, particularly Amazon, will be essential in ensuring our team remains motivated and engaged.

Key Responsibilities:

Staffing:

Collaborate with stakeholders to identify staffing needs and develop comprehensive job descriptions.
Utilize various recruitment channels to attract top talent, including job boards, social media, etc.
Screen resumes, conduct initial interviews, and coordinate candidate assessments.
Facilitate the onboarding process, ensuring new hires have the necessary resources and information to succeed.

New Employee Orientation:

Design and deliver engaging orientation programs to introduce new hires to our company culture, values, and policies.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams to provide training on job-specific tasks and responsibilities.
Serve as a mentor and resource for new employees, answering questions and providing guidance as needed.

Independent Work:

Conduct independent research on HR best practices, industry trends, and regulatory requirements.
Analyze data and metrics to identify areas for improvement and make data-driven recommendations.
Proactively identify and address potential HR challenges, demonstrating initiative and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications:

– Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
– Minimum of 2 years of experience in HR roles, with a focus on staffing, orientation, and employee support.
– Strong understanding of HR principles and practices, including employment law and regulatory compliance.
– Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with individuals at all levels of the organization.
– Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
– Familiarity with ecommerce operations, particularly Amazon, is mandatory.
