Job Description

As a Human Resources Support Officer for Origin Support Services, you will be responsible for supporting the Corporate Services Manager in hiring, developing and looking after employees throughout all stages of their employment. This will involve assisting in the coordination of all human resources (HR) functions that extend from recruitment and selection, onboarding and compliance to training, monitoring qualifications and licences and ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures.

-Recruitment and Onboarding
• Facilitate and coordinate recruitment process, including:
o Liaise with Corporate Services Manager and Director to determine staffing requirements
o Identify and source appropriate talent for current open roles
o Undertake initial shortlisting, phone screens and coordinate interviews
o Participate in interview process ensuring documentation of interview responses
o Conduct reference checks
o Liaise with Corporate Services Manager to offer position and notify unsuitable applicants
• Manage onboarding process to ensure new employees are fully inducted according to established procedure
• Arrange start up requirements for new employees such as house access, keys, uniforms etc.
• Update new employee starter kits with recent information
• Ensure new employee paperwork is completed and provided to payroll within designated timeframes

Human Resources

• Prepare all HR documentation and correspondence including – letters of engagement, probation reviews, performance reviews, disciplinary documentation and general correspondence
• Assist with and participate in the probation and performance management of all employees
• Assist the Corporate Services Manager with grievances, disciplinary action and termination processes, ensuring a procedurally fair process
• Maintain accurate records of all personnel files and HR matters
• Efficiently and accurately record all changes to employee details and pay conditions
• Monitor and report on annual/sick leave entitlements of employees, when requested
• Facilitate the Employee Assistance Program (EAP) for awareness and ease of access for all employees
• Assist with reviewing and approving timesheets and payroll related enquiries as directed by the Finance Manager
• Monitor and ensure compliance is maintained for all employee licensing
• Coordinate online training systems and records
• Coordinate employee exit process
o Conducting exit interviews
o Ensure exit interview paperwork is completed correctly and all Origin Support Services property is returned prior to final pay
• Report any HR concerns to the Corporate Services Manager
• Develop and maintain knowledge of Fair Work Act 2009 and Social, Community, Home Care and Disability Services Industry Award 2010 requirements
• Assist management in fostering the development of a positive team culture and productive work environment
