Position Overview:
As a Human Resources Specialist, you will play a vital role in fostering a positive and supportive work environment for our team of educators, administrators, and support staff. You will be responsible for implementing HR strategies and initiatives that align with our company’s mission and values, ensuring that our workforce remains engaged, motivated, and productive.

Key Responsibilities:

Talent Acquisition: Lead the recruitment process by identifying staffing needs, posting job openings, screening candidates, conducting interviews, and facilitating the hiring process. Collaborate with department heads to ensure that new hires align with organizational objectives and cultural fit.

Employee Onboarding and Offboarding: Develop and oversee comprehensive onboarding processes to integrate new employees seamlessly into the company culture. Coordinate exit interviews and offboarding procedures to gather feedback and ensure a smooth transition for departing employees.

Employee Relations: Serve as a trusted advisor and mediator for employee-related matters, including conflicts, grievances, and disciplinary actions. Foster a positive work environment by promoting open communication, resolving issues promptly, and advocating for employee well-being.

Performance Management: Implement performance evaluation systems to assess employee performance, provide constructive feedback, and identify opportunities for professional development. Collaborate with managers to set performance goals and track progress towards achieving organizational objectives.

Training and Development: Coordinate training initiatives to enhance employee skills, knowledge, and job satisfaction. Identify training needs, develop training programs, and facilitate workshops or seminars to support career growth and succession planning.

HR Compliance: Stay abreast of relevant employment laws and regulations to ensure company-wide compliance with legal requirements. Maintain accurate HR records, administer benefits programs, and handle payroll-related tasks in collaboration with finance and administration teams.

Employee Engagement: Organize employee engagement activities, wellness programs, and recognition initiatives to boost morale, foster team cohesion, and promote a positive workplace culture. Solicit feedback through surveys or focus groups to gauge employee satisfaction and identify areas for improvement.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
Proven experience in human resources management, preferably in the education or technology sector.
Strong knowledge of HR principles, practices, and employment laws.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict resolution skills.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
Proficiency in HRIS (Human Resources Information Systems) and MS Office Suite.
Certification in HR (e.g., SHRM-CP or PHR) is a plus.
