Human Resource and Finance Manager

Chabad Concierge is seeking an experienced and dynamic individual to join our team as the Human Resource and Finance Manager. This dual-role position is crucial in overseeing both human resource functions and financial operations. The ideal candidate will have a background as a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) plus Human Resource Management experience and will play a key role in establishing and optimizing the human resource and finance aspects of our organization.

Responsibilities:

Human Resource Management

Develop and implement human resource policies and procedures to ensure compliance with legal requirements and best practices.
Manage the entire recruitment process, including sourcing, interviewing, and selecting qualified candidates.
Oversee onboarding processes and create orientation programs for new employees.
Administer contractor perks/benefits and handle contractor relations matters.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date contractor records and documentation utilizing effective HR systems and databases.
Foster a positive and inclusive workplace culture through contractor engagement initiatives.
Coordinate and manage payroll functions, ensuring accurate and timely processing of payroll in compliance with relevant regulations.
Lead and participate in HR-related projects, applying project management methodologies to achieve successful outcomes.

Finance Management

Lead financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting activities for the organization.
Oversee financial reporting, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to safeguard organizational assets.
Manage cash flow, monitor financial performance, and provide recommendations for improvement.
Assess and mitigate financial risks while ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
Coordinate billing processes, ensuring accurate and timely invoicing to clients or customers.
Monitor and analyze the organization’s profit and loss statements, identifying areas for improvement and cost optimization.
Administer employee benefit programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other employee perks.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field. Master’s degree or relevant certifications (e.g., CPA, SHRM, or equivalent) preferred.
Proven experience as a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) or in a similar senior finance role.
Proven experience as a Human Resource manager or in a similar senior role.
Solid understanding of human resource principles, practices, and employment legislation.
Strong financial acumen with a track record of effective financial management.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively across departments.
Demonstrated leadership and managerial skills, including the ability to establish and lead a human resource and finance team.
Detail-oriented and analytical mindset with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
High level of integrity and professionalism.

Position Structure
This is a full-time position: 8 hours per day/40 hour per week
Work hours are from 11am-7pm New York Time (RD: Sat & Sun)
Compensation is $7/hr
