The Human Resources (HR) Specialist is a vital role within our organization, dedicated to fostering a happy and productive workplace for all team members. Duties and Responsibilities:
Employee Well-Being and Happiness
As our HR Specialist, your primary focus is on our team’s happiness and well-being.
Act as a “work mom” for our Filipino team members, providing them with guidance, support, and a sense of belonging.
Regularly check in on the personal and professional growth plans of team members, offering assistance where needed.
Support managers in conducting bi-annual employee evaluations, aiming to ensure each team member’s contentment and professional development.
Recruitment and Onboarding
Lead our hiring initiatives, ensuring a diverse pool of candidates.
Screen resumes and conduct initial phone interviews, welcoming potential new family members.
Coordinate interviews and maintain a well-organized hiring schedule.
Devote special attention to the orientation and onboarding of new hires, helping them assimilate seamlessly into our work family.
Maintain an up-to-date candidate database and handle necessary paperwork efficiently.
Administrative Excellence
Oversee the day-to-day HR operations, handling both clerical and administrative tasks with care.
Keep meticulous records, including both hard and soft copies of employee data.
Prepare reports on personnel activities, such as staffing, recruitment, training, and performance evaluations.
Coordinate HR projects, attend meetings, and take detailed minutes.
Address employee inquiries and concerns promptly, providing guidance on HR policies and regulations.
Collaborate closely with our payroll team to ensure accurate processing of timesheets, leaves, and related matters.
Qualifications:
A minimum of 3-5 years of prior HR experience, particularly in recruitment.
While experience in an eCommerce company is advantageous, it is not mandatory.
Proficiency in recruitment practices, from screening to onboarding.
Familiarity with recruitment software and social networks for sourcing talent.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within our close-knit team.
Exceptional organizational skills with great attention to detail.
Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision.
Excellent communication and writing skills.
Proficiency in MS Office applications.
Meticulous and highly organized.
