Role Overview

We’re looking for an HR Manager to manage and oversee all human resources functions and activities for our organization. The HR supervisor will lead every stage of the recruitment process and address all staff-related issues. The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of all HR disciplines, including but not limited to Talent Acquisition, Health and Safety, Employee Relations, Benefits, Compliance, Employee Engagement and Training & Development. They will be a strategic thinker who can see the big picture and develop creative solutions to complex problems. The HR supervisor should be able to juggle many responsibilities while maintaining a positive attitude.
A successful HR supervisor will have extensive HR experience, be familiar with company procedures, and have sound labor law knowledge. You should also have excellent administrative skills and easily communicate with staff at all levels. An exceptional HR supervisor should be observant and proactive. You should be familiar with the finer workings of the company, but never lose sight of the big picture.

HR Manager Responsibilities:
• Manage day-to-day operations of the HR functions and duties.
• Facilitate in expanding recruitment channels to ensure on-going pipeline of candidates.
• Oversee full life cycle recruitment process.
• Conducting interviews, recruiting, and vetting new employees.
• Arranging training sessions with all new hires and professional development workshops for existing employees.
• Create and maintain positive, productive work environments through conducting human resource and professional development activities.
• Create and maintain comprehensive Employee Handbook
• Assist with creation of employee handbook.
• Provide guidance, training, and coaching to new employees.
• Assist in developing performance appraisals.
• Orient new employees to office policies, goals, and objectives.
• Ensure that staff are adequately trained and qualified for their positions.
• Maintain employee records, schedules, and time sheets.
• Determine compensation and offer reward incentives.
• Support staff with benefits administration.
• Promote a positive company culture.
• Identifying and addressing employee requirements regarding performance issues, training, and career growth.
• Performing various administrative tasks and accurately processing paperwork.
• Counseling staff on HR policies, practices, and procedures.
• Enhances the organization’s human resources by planning, implementing, and evaluating employee relations and human resources policies, programs, and practices.
• Advises managers and supervisors of state and federal regulations and effective human resource practices with regard to employee issues.
• Evaluates the effectiveness of the organization’s training programs and recommends areas of improvement.
• Prepares employees for assignments by establishing and conducting orientation and training programs.
• Enforces management guidelines by preparing, updating, and recommending human resource policies and procedures.
• Ensures adherence to legal and company policies and procedures and undertake disciplinary actions if the need arises.
• Prepares and improves HR systems for continuous organizational growth.
• Organizes workflow and ensures that employees understand their duties or delegated tasks.
• Conducts new hire employee orientations, apprises employees of benefit options, and accurately completes requisite paperwork for new staff members.
• Assist in formulating and implementing human resource policies and programs.
• Oversee all recruitment, hiring, orientation, and training processes.
• Prepare and maintain employee records, including payroll, benefits, and compensation.
• Work closely with managers on performance reviews and personnel issues
• Oversee completion of Forms I-9 verifies I-9 documentation and ensures proper maintenance of employee files.
• Other duties as assigned.

HR Manager Requirements/Skills:
The Human Resources Manager must have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, strong supervisory and leadership skills, and a thorough understanding of labor and employment laws related to training and development. He/She must have strong planning and organizing skills, with attention to detail and accuracy, effective oral and written communication skills, and excellent interpersonal skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or related software is also essential.

• Bachelor’s degree in HR or similar (preferably a master’s degree).
• At least 5 years’ experience in HR role and 2 years in leadership role
• Strong leadership skills and the ability to work unsupervised.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong moral and ethical code.
• In-depth knowledge of labor law and HR best practices
• Knowledge of HR systems and databases
• Must have intermediate computer skills to format reports, presentations, spreadsheets, and graphics.
• Competency in Microsoft Office, and business management and presentation tools.
• Excellent administrative skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in business administration or human resources management

Compensation
• $2000-$2400 per month

• Work Schedule:
9am-8pm est time with flexibility
